Branded versus Fake

On marketplaces you can sometimes find fake products that advertise with the names of the engines that are installed in generators instead of the real brand of the generator manufacturer such as AKSA, CAT, Ford.

If you then ask for the brand, there is then suddenly none or only a NO name from China.

As a rule, these are devices that are copied from cheap parts in China.

In the generators market we still have a glut of fake products from China in the market. A Perkins does not have to be a Perkins. It can be a licensed or even unlicensed replica.
